LS turbo Not spooling help needed ASAP
Ok this is what happened, i was driving normal when all of a sudden my car stops spooling, And when i get home to check it, i check to hear if i am spooling, and there is no noise. Just sounds like an intake. What do you think could be the problem?
97 LS Revhard stage 2turbo
Running Vortech FMU
And APEX avcr boost controller.
was boosting only at 3 psi

How long have you had the kit? When was it put on? Well first off you should check all you intercooler piping. ( my buddy with an SRT4 had his charge pipe come loose by his throttle body after installing a BOV. As soon as he installed it we took it for a drive to hear the Greddy S. Afetr about the third time of romping on it, it just stops spooling! He thought the turbo was dead. Needless to say it turned out that his friend didnt tighten the charger pipe correctly to the throttle body and it came loose.) This will cause your same problem. Its most likely somewhere along that trail. When you find out what the problem was,... let me know. Also,... even though this is more than likely not your cause (since it sounds like and intake and not an exhaust leak) my original gasket on my wasegate to manifiold flange blew off and my turbo wouldn't spool b/c of that. So i got copper rtv and that has worked great!!

wastegate. If it is internal the cotter pin could have fallen making the wastegate stick open. This happened to mine
