LS TURBO have bin told i dont need a fuel management system is this ture ?
hey im planing on geting a ls b18b swap and turbo for my 93 ciivc. I was told i dont need a fuel management system if i running low boost like 7 psi . he said all i need is to get it tuned.. ???? is this ture???

Tell me, how are you going to "tune" it, without fuel management? This isn't a carburator where you can just replace the jets and turn the mixture screws.

i probably wouldn't be attempting to turbo anything if you don't know this. Word of advice don't try to be cheap and take shortcuts cause you just going to end up costing yourself more money and time.

definately do not cheap out. it only costs you more money in the long run. since you are obd1 i would recommend uberdata. im just going to say that you should seriously do a lot of reading if you plan on doing tuning yourself. good luck

i recomend going as cheap as possible. Just make sure its fully functional. I would recommend reading up on some of the rom editors available.

I second that... what an ***, hope HE wasn't a tuner.. lol... well we will just adjust the timing here, and put in some new wires and plugs, it should be good to go son. It is ready to be blown up in 2 days, but give her a runnin.
