LS tranny or GS-R Tranny?
Ok, for a Turbo Application (LS Motor, drag 3 kit, 9psi max), what is the ideal transmission?
I assumed GSR is better because it is closer gear ratio... but someone brought up a good point that the Turbo will add so much horsepower and torque through-out the power band that the LS Transmission will harness it just fine.
What are your thoughts? Worth the swap?

Re: LS tranny or GS-R Tranny? (B-Series Sol)
You aren't adding enough HP to make the LS tranny useful. When you get around 400hp, then the LS gears become the hot ticket.

Appreantly none one you have driven an LS with an "R" transmission. Does anyone remember why the stock LS has longer gears? Because it has a lower redline. Unless you enjoy topping out at about 110 MPH in 5th, i'd recommend again the "R" tranmission. The gears are way to short for the 7K RPM LS redline. That and the shorter gears also cause more wheel spin.
