Default lower temp thermoswitch (fan switch) is it worth it?

for example the ones made by mugen or spoon. does it actually activate the fan at a lower preset temperature? or should i just go with a factory thermoswitch.

i would like some feedback from people with experience with these aftermarket switches.

If you have enogh radiater and a lower temp thermostat it is worth it. I had a Koyo radiater and spoon thermostat and it would stay 155-160 going down the street, but at a light it would get up to 195 before the fans come on.I got the Spoon thermo switch and the fans now kick on at 165, it works real well.
