Lower temp thermostats... yay or nay?
Any swaying opinions?
First of all my first thought says it's a good idea, but are they are bad effects you guys know of that I am not thinking about?
Second: Who makes them?/Where to get them?

you can get them at any parts store, NAPA, Autozone etc.
in the winter i wouldnt change the temp gauge cause its so damn cold out anyways what do you need it to be cooler for and i think it would mess with your combustion. only change to a lower temp gauge in the summer months cause its obviously hotter then.

when it gets below 40F outside, block off part of the radiator.
I have to do this over the weekend.

Mugen and Spoon make thermostats that operate at lower temps. their like 10 or 15 degrees cooler and are about $70.

LOL
You could always keep the stock one, and swap it back in during the colder months. But, that would be a pain in the @$$.
