Default Lovefab H22 Mani Clearance Problems Need Opinions???

Im about to pik up a Mini me mani(lovefab) h22, and I am concernd with the clearance, i have a t3/t4 turbo Borg Warner to be exact, it looks like ill be hitting the front mount. Heres a couple pics to better Understand my dilemma.

This turbo is not mine, Mine would sit opposite.
In the pics he doesnt have the mount bolted in...



it be like this, same turbo(borg warner) but a shitty manifold.

i think regardless of what turbo you use, you will have to make a custom front engine mount? i could be wrong, but i do know i have had to make a mount using that manifold before, maybe it was just b/c of a big downpipe? cant remember exactly

Yeah it will not work with a front mount!! Trust me i learned to hard way have someone fab a mount!

Exactly.. a 90 degree should fix that problem.

i think he is talking about the compresor housing hitting the mount, not the wg..

I have the sst h22 manifold with a GT35R and there is no way the mount will fit. If you have good mounts you can get away with out the front mount. But if you get a lot of wheel hop you can make a bracket and use a peice of threded rod and you can adjust up and down were ever you want.

its on the front of the trans or engine, and bolt to the crossmember.

I dont think so, Well i know me ef with a b16 didnt....its the brack/mount that sits right around the engine code. I wish i had a pic of it, but i just yanked my motor out
