I had a TD04 14g on a stock D16Z6.

When I first installed the turbo it would spool to 7psi and hold there until redline.

Just recently I noticed that after about 5500 the car doesn't pull anymore so I made some pulls watching my boost guage. At around 5000-5500 my boost guage goes from 7psi to about 4psi and holds.

I'm running the stock wastegate, log style manifold, full 2.5" exhaust with stock cat. I was running a 2" downpipe, but it was Jerry-rigged and got a hole in it from dragging the ground.

edit: as I was rereading my post I thought of something. Before I had an exhaust leak, but now I have a complete, leak-free exhaust. I have a feeling my stock cat may be holding me back.

I'll pull that this weekend and see if it has a lot of crap in it, and I may hallow it out to see if that fixes the problem.

have you checked for boost leaks in your charge pipes or else where? I had that problem twice, onces was a boot leak and the second time it was when the turbo was loose and exhaust gasses blew out before the turbo.
