Default Looking for a oil line fitting (see pics)

I have a Garrett T25 and I can't find a fitting for the oil return line ANYWHERE in the entire city.

Anyone have any ideas where to look? I've called Garrett and they have no idea what I'm talking about.

3/4 IF. Go to a hydraulic or large truck parts store, they will have hydraulic lines that large. Most auto parts stores only stock up to 1/2 IF.

(IF = inverted flare, the type of fittings used in your brake system, only much larger)

I've been to a hyd. shop, they told me it was a metric thread, is this correct?

Hell, it might be. Looks like 3/4 IF from my computer, but it might be M18 IF.

I would think hydraulic stores would carry them in SAE and metric thread? If you have no luck there, go to a truck parts store. I am sure Mitsubishi Fuso trucks use large metric hydraulic lines.

Yeah, that's about right. Recall that IF measurements are the OD of the line, or ID of the connector.

Let us know if you actually find the fitting...

I was going to use one of those turbos a while ago and searched around for those damn fittings for a long long time... with no success....

I ended up selling the turbo because it was too much of a headache...

Good luck

Oh, BTW, I contaced Honeywell, Garrett, many various diesel shops, tuning shops, and I even went to STS turbo and looked through their fittings... I still never found it.

I was even going to find a bolt that fit in there and drill and tap it to make my own fitting but never found one that fit the threads... what a PITA!

I remember someone having this problem with this exact turbo a few months back. They ended up selling the turbo and getting another one because they got so frustrated and fed up with not being able to find the fittings.
