Default Looking for a good turbo mani

As title says, I am currently looking for a good turbo mani to upgrade from my current flat log style. The car is mainly tracked but sees the occasional street.

Motor specs are:

b16a3 custom stroke and bore (roughly a 1.73L)
Forged 9.5.1 turbo pistons
Eagle rods
Head work includes a stage 3 port and polish
Full titanium valve train
AEM cam gears
Custom grind cam shafts

Turbo is a turbonetic's t3/t4 hybrid race turbo

Also would like to be pointed in right direction for a wastegate and a upgrade of my BOV.

mini ram or full ram.

your log is great under 6500 rpms.. but after that its restrictive to flow..

Ram style will fix this.

Since I rev my B20 to only 6800, the log style is perfect for me. But for higher revving I would go ram. Then you should see the difference on the dyno sheet.

While we're on topic, can anybody think of a good a/c friendly ram mani?

If your looking for a nice manifold for cheaper but still really nice. DOC Manifolds on ebay. I got there topmount and love it. They have Ram Horn and the "SLS Shorty" look alike. They are really nice manifolds and reasonable priced!

you have no clue what you're even saying

doc race is forged performance in troutdale oregon. those manifolds are hand made and tig welded out of american 304 stainless. you're more or less getting a spoolin ramhorn for less cash

i don't even know if they sell on ebay anymore, this is their main page

You must tryna see how man shops, vendors, cheerleaders, and ppl who swear by the shop that did there manifold and downpipe that will respond to your thread.

there tons and when i mean tons of ppl making quality manifolds now. from top shops like full-race down to the your one man team, 1 car garage backyard tech. making great manifolds now. i remember seeing top mount manifolds 3yrs going for over $1200 now you can get the for damn near half the cost. best thing to do is hit the fab section and see what shops and regular folks are doing then just compare bro.

FYI: obx newer top mount manifolds are made with "BETTER" quality and a few guys and a few shops ran these manifolds. my buddy still today is running his making 489whp no probs. before he installed he just grinded down the flanges a little bit to make the turbo sit flush and the manifold to sit flush on head.

I would go with a ramhorn manifold. Price isnt too bad and overall is one of the best manifolds to run IMO. For brands I would try out Synapse Motorsport, Spoolin Performance, Full Race or Boostflow. I have personal experience with Synapse and Boostflow ramhorn manifolds and nothing but great things to say.

Normally I don't trust ebay, but seeing as you gave me facts to back up what was said, I will look into them. Thank you and sorry for any miscommunication my original post about ebay might have caused.

Top mount or full ram for time attack/road racing though? Only question I have at this point, besides what waste gate to upgrade to.

You're going to want a short runner design for time attack/road racing. If you were building an all-out drag car, i'd suggest a topmount, but not for anything else. You want responsiveness which means a short runner manifold. Something like a mini-ram or some of the "prototype" manifolds made by SLS or others...they're basically a little shorter version of a ramhorn.

The wastegate size depends on the size of the turbo (not just T3/T4) and how you plan to run it. Give us a little more info and we can figure that out as well

you want something with quick spool when road racing. You don't want something that doesn't hit full boost till 5-6k

spoolin is the place with the super bad *** miniram. the quick4ac even allows a full size radiator with dual slim fans if you run a B or E case turbo

I have a small t3/t4 I will get measurements when I get home, size escapes me off top of my head. I know I have a turbonetics delta-gate right now, it came with the car when I picked it up. The blitz bov seems like it will be fine.

Rad wise I have a extremely fat half size with a slim fan on it, considering a full size when my other motor is done.

Check out AFITurbo. Those manifolds are the best I've seen. The runners are so smooth and have great flow I have yet to see heavy carbon build up and they have handled great boost numbers.
