Re: Looking to get new ignition system. What to get?
There is always the AEM COP conversion kit. I just ordered my coil on plug conversion today, but im running a AEM ems series 2 so its plug and play for me 779 shipped from bisimoto
Hondata makes a cop system thats considerably cheaper than AEM's, but it looks like it still uses the stock distributor to send the signal to a coil pack controller... dont really like how it looks compared to the AEM unit. But it is half the price at 400 bucks.

Re: Looking to get new ignition system. What to get?
correct
when my car was built i was never on a stock ign system it was AEM/msd digi 6 with the billet dizzy and cop. we had so many issues with the dizzy, and the digi 6, and i got tired of replacing the dizzy@500 a pop. so my tuner said man go m&w and you will not have anymore of these issue, and the t1 trigger well he was correct that was 3 years ago and them parts are still on.
my power level you have to stop and think about for a minute my stock gsr made 590@28, and my built gsr made 650@22 the reason this is a factor is because i was and still am on rc1000's and an aeromotive a1000. both these levels were made @7-psi base, and 98% duty.
my current b16 is on the same system with gsr cams, and made whats in my signature at the same everything. i use to be gapped at .022, but didnt wanna mess with gapping so i went to the NGK vpower 10's as per the guidance i received.

OP...I can't say as to how well it works yet cause my car is not finished, but for the price if your running S300 you should look into Hondata CPR, it was quite a bit cheaper than pro10 and highly recommended from my tuner. Maybe someone with a working system could give you better direction, but if your having problems with OEM dizzy the only thing that it uses from it is the sensors. Ignitor, coil, and cap are not used in the function of it. Just another route to think about.

Re: Looking to get new ignition system. What to get?
thank you for the info....right now my plans are pro10 ignition with a T1 trigger as my top choice, but as a less expensive choice i want to get some more info on the hondata CPR. How does CPR stack up against the pro10 /w T1 trigger. Can any1 with experiences with hondata CPR please share your thought on the product both good and bad....thank you
