Will the APEXi N1 universal turbo or Dunk universal turbo muffler clear an EG hatchback?

I'd get a Magnaflow also..anyone have any particular part numbers they can shoot me??

Again looking for 3-inch muffler only to clear an EG hatchback.

Any suggestions welcome.

are you running a 3" full exhaust as well? I would imagine it should fit your car, they are universal cannisters.

I have a tanabe racing medalion for sale, itz just the muffler part from a supra.

yea i plan to get the piping seperate, 3-inch also....

if your getting a custom exhaust they can hang it alittle lower or angle it to let the muffler clear i would think

true. but that's the thing, i don't really want it hanging too low.....

dude its gonna be tough to get that to fit good on a civic...i had a racing medalion on my old supra and the muffler is friggin huge...not only in diameter but also in length....its also like 3.75 inch

You said you want a 3" yet you want it not to hang low? That's nearly impossible.

well i don't want the muffler all angled i just want it to lay straight.

the dynomax one doesn't look too bad



i guess when i said i was worried about clearance probs i meant the length of the muffler itself. the stock integra muffler i tried to put on before was too long.

No it will not fit. I had a Dunk muffler and tried to have it put on and then said that the suspension on the back of a hatch is to short and couldnt make it work. Sold it to my brother that had a coupe and it worked fine.

just cuz its fits your dc doesn't mean it will clear my EG. just like dwilason said i don't want it hitting my suspension. thanks for your input though.

yea thermals are dope. i would probably have to get one of their universal mufflers because i don't think the rear sections that they sell come in 3-inch. and no i don't want a cat-back system. i will get the piping seperately.

The N1's will clear that is what i have on mine. It is the 3", the only reason the Dunk system and others do not work is because the canister part is to big. Hope this help...

my friend tried to get a 3" on his HB but they couldnt get it to not hit the control arm (or something, i guess they didnt try hard enough), he had the N1 Muffler that was 3" then sold it for a Thermal Catback...Go w/ the Thermal catback, I like them, they look pretty sweet on a Hatchback too...I got my 3" Turbo N1 Muffler with 3 inch piping from the downpipe all the way back, Im curious to see how it sounds....
