Exactly what I was thinking. If your making 600whp now with the LS head you would probably be making 6,000 horsepower with a B16, GSR, ITR head...

ok first off, the main point of this car is to have a car that is a true LS, the kid that we sponsor has gotten great recognition for doin all this on an LS motor.
second, i already stated that i cant get the crower cam, due to severe backorder and we are needing somthing similar sooner, so im looking for another reputable cam in comparison to the crower.
Third, instead of telling me how i should do things, how about just focus on the fact that i asked a question about cam opinion, not how to build a motor and what motor to build.
thanks

I see you can't take a joke very well. I do agree about the replies suggestion crower cams though when you clearly stated "BESIDES CROWER", those guys must be retarded lol...

So are you saying every shop you've checked doesn't carry any inventory, that they drop-ship everything from the MFG?? Or that you haven't tried any online shops? I'd say do some googling for 20mins and another 40mins calling the places you find.
I know someone who just recently got the big crowers online, they're in the car already & runnin off my tune.

ImportCarPartsPlus on here probably has Crower's instock. I will be tuning a car with Crower 62404-2 camshafts here soon. Started street tuning when the rotor, coil and crank angle sensor went out.
Jeff Evans recommends Crane Stage 2 turbo camshafts. Below is a dyno of a car he tuned.

*Dotted line represents pump gas 13psi tune, solid lines represent race gas tune. Tuning session was cut short at 25psi due to cylinder head lifting off block. Stock OEM head bolts and high boost dont mix. Luckily headgasket didnt tear, and customer was able to drive car back to fix iissue. As soon as headbolts are installed, going to 30psi. Probably going to make 500whp/425tq. </TD></TR></TABLE>
