Look at what I just brought home...Now I need help!!!
Whelp, it took us 3 hours to get down there, and another 3 to get back...but I finally have my turbo.
Setup:
Greddy TD04 Turbo
Manifold/DP
Trust Small Intercooler
Vortech 12:1 FMU
Missing Link
HKS BOV
A lot of piping/clamps
$1200 + about $75 in tolls/gas
Now..questions:
On the Missing link, there are 4 wires. Red (Pos), Black (Neg), Blue, and White. What do the blue/white ones connect to? On the FMU, there are 3 nipples. One on top (coming in from intake mani?), one on bottom (going out to FPR?)..and one more. Where does this last one go to?
I am also missing the oil feed/return lines. It has the AN fittin on the turbo, along w/ the return fitting on the turbo. I need a fitting to go in to the block, and the one going in to the oil pan. Can I get these at Discount/Pep Boys, and what are they called? I don't have any steel braided line right now. Can I use fuel line w/ really tight hose clamps until I can get a steel braided line kit? Also, coming out of the block. What can I use here? I have heard NOT to use the T fitting, as it will snap... So can I put a dual nipple going in to the block, clamp fuel line to that going to the firewall w/ a T fitting (2 male, 1 female end). Have the OSU coming off the female and the feed line to the turbo clamped on the male end?
Will this work?
Thanks guys...
Boosting tomorrow. The Dark Side is getting closer by the minute...

I believe this is what the missing link should look like for a car that has a firewall mounted map sensor. I think what you have there is the greddy black box. Anbody else care to correct me.

Yes, I found out that is the black box.
The missing link, do I have to have it to run like 7psi? I though that anything over 3psi that the MAP Sensor would mess everything up. Can I run everything w/ the black box and FMU or am I going to have to have the missing link to do it?
Hopefully a/c is on the way. I am getting together tomorrow to get new seats, door panels, and hopefully a/c system. Tomorrow is going to be a freakin big day. So far the agenda includes:
1. Turbo install
2. Adjust door hinge so everything lines up
3. Replace front bumper
4. Fix PS CV-Boot
Man...I got some crap to do. Wish me luck all...

For right now, I am going to stick with this. It's a front mount, just not a very big one. It's better than no intercooler .
T- 2 hours and counting on the install.

I bet I'm gonna try to install it damn thing.. Not have the right connectors, go to Pep Boys, back to the car, then to Home Depot, then back to Pep Boys, then to Discount, then to Lowes, then give up...
Oh wait...that's already what happened. This day has sucked.
Lesson to all kiddies when trying to install a turbo:
Make sure you have ALL of the correct fittings before you do ANYTHING. We took the front end off, radiator out, drained the oil...and THEN went looking for the fittings. Came back 4 hours later and had to put it all back together just so I could get home.
