Re: (CaptivaBlue)
its an ERL Superdeck 2. they basically sleeve the block then attach a deck plate, effectively allowing you to run a gsr crank, rods and pistons

I take it that they're street overkill? Although the reassurance that it was highly unlikely that you were going to ventilate the block "boom-style" would be nice, even on a street car.

Re: (CaptivaBlue)
well, erl uses darton sleeves if i remember correctly, they add the deck plate, which supports the upper section of the sleeve and still allows for decent cooling.
The superdeck 2 is basically allowing you to run a "sleeper" stroker motor. ppl still see the b16 block code and assume its a 1.6l, when in reality you have the b18c internals

Re: (Black DC2)
lol, dont worry. i dont know your bore or c/r or anything else, so youre safe... you could probably get away with running an 89mm crank, im not sure about how tall the deck plate is, i would assume 4mm since the b18 block has a 4mm taller deck plate, ya never know
