Default Little vacuum port on side of T04E.. what use?

Simple enough, what are you guys using that little vacuum port on the compressor for? I've seen people hook them up directly to wastegates, but I prefer having the wastegate run off the manifold for vacuum to ensure I see the full amount of boost I should (IC pressure drop). So.... other options? Right now I've just got it capped off fyi

Using it as a place to keep a pipe plug is probably the only thing it's good for at this point

I have my boost controller and wastegate hooked up to it and my boost guage reads 15psi off the manifold. You will get all kinds of arguements about it but I prefer mine to be hooked up there.

Trust me cap it off and run everything from the intake mani and brake booster. The pressure drop is more prevelant than most people think

i've heard u get better boost response and less spiking, etc blah blah blah if it's run off the compressor housing. and if u have a mbc or ebc u can always raise the boost to make up for the pressure drop

i have the sohc greddy kit on my car and i had the compressor capped off and ran the vaccuum to the brake booster line. this produced crazy boost spikes, i was spiking from 10psi to 13.5psi in 1and2 gear and 10 to 12 in 3and4th. i than moved the line back to the compressor housing and i now hold pretty steady at 10-10.5psi through all gears.

I had just the opposite experience with my GReddy kit. When I switched the vacuum port to the manifold, it greatly reduced my spiking and spooled much faster.
