Little comparison of BFG 225/50/15's vs normal tire...
I just had these mounted on my wheels and was surprised to see how much bigger they actually are in real life. The wheels are 15x6.5, BFG's are 225/50, and the other tires are Falken Ziex 195/50's. Looks like Im going to have raise up these skunk2 coilovers a wee bit.
The compound on the BFG's is VERY soft. I can move it around a little with just my finger. They also wiegh a bit more than the Ziex's. Probably about 2 pounds each.

They are obviously going to be bigger since you are increasing the width by 30MM so then the sidewall, which is a 50, is in proportion to the width. I would have went with a smaller sidewall to compensate for the wider tire.

I am only running the 205 bfg and they don't seem to like taking corners hard. They seem to almost skip or bounce. Not sure if that is b/c it is colder out and they are not warm enough to grip properly. The first time I went into a turn hard it scared the crap out of me. I thought I was not going to make it.

they dont make such a thing, for a reason... sidewall needs to have flexibility to hook up. if you drop the sidewall down then it will be stiffer.

They make 235/60's which are 26" tall. I had a pair but, they were to tall for my application. The BFG 225/50's are about the best bang for the buck on the street IMO(unless you're a baller and have to much Power for them like you ).
