Little Chip on the top of my sleeves, is it ok?

Default Little Chip on the top of my sleeves, is it ok?

i just got my block back from the machine shop, and i notice a few millimeters down from the top of the sleeves, there is a little chip. would that be ok, he said that it won't effect anything. ill post up pics

if it's on the inside of the sleeve it will cause a hot spot and will be prone to pinging and maybe screw with your headgasket! That sucks though

well its actually not at the top, i mean a few millimeter down from the top, which is inside.

I'd either try to get a refund or have it resleeved at no cost. Chip=bad unless it's chocolate.

Yeah post a pic. If the chip is on the cylinder wall you've got a big problem. I'd be pissed if it was me. There is now way a shop should let a block leave with a chip on the cylinder wall if they are doing sleeving.
