Default list your set ups/times/hsp........

since everyone on here is different, i thought it would be cool to list your set ups along with your times on street tires and/or slicks(if you run the 1/4), how long your set up lasted, your horsepower/torque, blah, blah, blah...........

i'm trying to keep this factual........no busting on other peoples shitz......

here's mine: (for the 2001 season)

1993 civic hatch dx, full interior w/cage, no back seat
it started out teal and ended up s2000 silver
1995 b18c1 stock head, stock block
turbonetics t3/4 w/50 trim compressor wheel w/a b housing(yeah, thats small) and .63 ar.
rev hard exhaust manifold
skunk 2 intake manifold
skunk 2 cam gears
inline pro headgasket
greddy x-large intercooler
greddy type s blow off valve
hks wastegate
fluidyne radiator
rc 440cc injectors
12:1 fmu
apex s-afc
greddy profec b boost controller
greddy turbo timer
greddy egt and boost gauges w/memory
ls tranny w/quaiffe and a b16 tranny w/quaiffe (i ran both)
clutchmasters stage 4 and 5 clutch (i've run both)
skunk2 springs
koni shocks (yellow)
15"volk te37's w/drag radials
24.5x8 m&h's on 13" bogarts

361 hsp

this set up was on the road in january of 2001. i ran 11.38 @ 125mph at the track and 12.60 on street tires. i ran this set up at first w/ 93 octane pump gas at 12 lbs of boost for a few months. the motor after all had 140,000 miles on it. i had previously put 10,000 on it with a jrsc @ 8 lbs of boost. the owner before that was the original owner and he had the s/c on it at 100,000 miles @ 6lbs of boost.

after a few months i started running a mixture of race gas/pump gas and ran 17 lbs of boost. i started killing everything on the road practically. then by may i was race gas only. luckily for me i only live 5 miles from work and the street races are only 15 minutes away.

anyway, i loved that set up and inlinepro did a great job. but out with the old, and in with the new. next year i will have 450+ to the wheels, daily driven, and running 10's.

full interior best time by SGT... 13.o @ 106mph
full interior best time by me.......13.2 @ 105mph
the car is still running and it's FOR SALE real cheap!!!!!
or trade for hondata stage 4b....

Basically, I have a Rev Hard Stage II with the usual add-ons(V-afc, exhaust, etc.).
240 whp the last time I dynoed and my best run was 13.6 @ 104.

Walbro 255gph intake fuel pump
HKS Sylvia intercooler (modified)
Apex VTEC AFC
Turbonetics T3/T4, 60-1
Aluminum IC piping
HKS race BOV
HKS standard wastegate
Kooks header
Fluidyne radiator
HKS EVC EZ boost controller
Autometer boost and A/F ratio gauges
SPI 4 puck clutch
22x8x13" (yes, they're tiny) slicks on Lenso wheels
'96 GSR wheels on the street
stock GSR tranny, open diff
Eibach sportline springs on stock Civic shocks
NGK BKR6ES-11 plugs (1 colder than stock)
Stock '95 GSR ECU

9.5 psi, on the street and at the track. First time on the track with this setup (September 2001), the car ran 11.9 at 116MPH. In November this year, I ran 11.47 at 118.8mph with a blown head gasket. Compression got into the radiator and blew the top radiator hose off on that run. Put water back in and reclamped the hose and backed up the 11.4 run with an 11.53 at 118MPH, blowing water out of the overflow bottle. 93 pump gas on the street, purple race gas at the track. Head gasket is replaced now, about to go and boost it some more.

How are you running 440's with a 12:1 fmu? Wouldn't your fuel pressure be crazy at 14+psi? Can the vafc lean it out that much? How is your idle?

Multiport fuel injection conversion
Custom cast iron manifold mated to a little turbo (tdo5) trim???
boost level is little more than 1 bar (+15 psi)
stock 96 eclipse intercooler/piping , bov, and downpipe
stock 93 vx bottom end with a 88' crx head (not ported/polished)
stock 88' si injectors (think 230cc's) with two extra boost dep. injectors
stock 88 si ecu
stock 88' si ignition
stock 88' dx fuel pump
stock 88' si transmission
stock 88' radiator
stock 88' suspension
stock 88' si wheels 185/60/14 cooper cobras <<they suck!

Best time: 12.89 @120.36 mph
60 ft: 2.45 ouch!! (street tires)
Hp: ?? not sure mustang dyno gave a peak hp rating of 280 @5600 rpm not sure if thats reliable or not.

Am i missing anything??

99 gsr on greddy kit@7 psi, wth straight pipe, and hks hyper exhaust(2.1"), stock timing..NOTHING ELSE. Drag radials on and ran best of 13.7@102 , average of 13.9@100 or 101. Since then upgraded downpipe to 2.5" and dynoed car @ 215 and 165 to the wheels untuned. Now I finally upgraded to a 3" exhaust, and feel the car definitely runnig harder and need to hit the track and dyno again! Peace,

93 hatch chasis, 95 gsr dash and seats, bone stock 95 ls auto drivetrain, 7psi through gsr greddy kit...and i have only ran in the 1/8th a couple times and pulled numerous 8.6's...average 2.1 60's...82-84 mph on stock wheels and tires. got drag radials now...was supposed to run the quarter this month but that's on hold. can't have too much going to the wheels...180 maybe. how long my set-up lasted? the tranny gave yesterday no joke so now I have to upgrade or do the 5-speed swap and add more force. yeah this is a pretty crap set-up with '0' tuning but i am working on it so there.

Last year I had the same head minus the valves and I had a stock Ls block with just standard bore pistons and rods. Boosting 22 psi i went 11.6 @ 115 on 3 cylinders after I evaporated a plug. Never had the chance to run it again.


Forgot to mention a few things
moroso oil pan
RC 550cc injectors for now (planning on getting 720's)
STR fuel rail
ported matched Venom manifold
MSD 6AL and Blaster 2 coil

ack, why the larger oil feed than return line?

Here's my setup:
97 civic ex
96 b18b1
drag 3 kit + tial
autometer boost and egt
halmeter a/f
koni yellows & GCs (sitting in my room)
ssr type X wheels - for sale for the right price (make an offer)

fastest drag run car has seen (i think): 16.8 @83mph

that sounds about right. dunno about the rpm though. a friend of mine has a 88 crx w/ approx 250 to the wheels. he runs 12.80's on street tires and probably weights about 100 lbs less than your ride. the nos gives him a little more torque too probably.

running check engine codes 71,72,73,and 74 which mean random misfire on all cyl.
and overheating problem.
6 pds
14.4@98 mph. not to bad huh?
by the way i dynoed at 169 whp on 3 pds. 164 tq.

My new set-up for next season:
94 Civic CX hatch
LS engine
Turbo ported head, port-matched intake manifold
ITR tranny
Max Rev manifold, 3'' open downpipe, t3/t4E 57 trim .67 a/r
EFI PMS, 440cc injectors, walboro 255lph, spearco water injection kit
ITR suspension (sway bars, strut bars, shocks/springs, control arms, etc)
GSR front and rear brake upgrade (brembo slotted/drilled rotors f/r, project U pads)

When I had my b16a in I ran 11.8 on slicks at 12psi stock block. With my new LS, stock block at 15psi on race gas I should be mid 11's. This is gutted with 1/4 tank of gas. But the butter thing about my hatch is it is my daily driven bitch.
