limit on stock sleeves..hp/boost
lets say i know this guy with a gsr swap in his hatch..and the drag kit he has is fun and all...but it needs to be a bit faster. exactly how much can stock sleeves hold? is 350-400whp impossible? would this guy be better off just building a sleeved bottom-end? this guy is me and i want more speed. 260whp & 12.9 is fun, but i know it can get way funner. any help for me?

well, i guess i should add a twist....i realize this wont be the most reliable car on earth, however, will it be reliable enough to drive it fairly regular? i have a truck that i drive everyday. but sometimes i get bored and drive the hatch. so would it be better to just sleeve it or keep stock sleeves and run about 12-15lbs off a t3/t04e?

Re: (LSTEG96)
Are you referring to a completely stock bottom end or stock sleeves with forged internals?
It sounds like you are referring to a completely stock bottom end. If so, I'd keep it under 300 whp if you want it to last for a while. However, there are several guys on here that have made insane power on completely stock bottom ends.
