btw, it's watercooled...

watercooled turbo owns...

AND I DO NOT OVERHEAT, even with stock rad... i'm not crazy, i don't boost 20 seconds straight at a time in 5th gear.... that's just fucked

99% of the turbo's i know of use oil. When someone means watercooled, they usually mean that the center section ALSO has a water jacket around it for water cooling.

Water cooling pretty much helps the oil to break down less faster and just keeps the turbo cool as far as I know.

i boosted in fifth untill i hit redline once... that was one of those things you do once, but never again... (unless on a road coarse designed for the speed)

I hit around 20 psi the first time I went out with the new 16g. It loves it. My friend accidently hit over 12 psi on his t3 60 trim first time out after turboing the car. Just make sure the turbo has oil pressure then beat it, trust me its ok LOL. I have also been known to do 2500 rpm's in 5th gear to well over 130mph at 20 psi of boost. I'll also do standing starts to 150mph or so. I've stayed into it with excess of 24 psi of boost ofr 30 seconds or so. I've also done 20 minute backroads boosting sessions through twisty pennsylvaina roads. My high speed runs are on closed course roads only, only going to take myself out. I've done pretty much the worst stuff you can to to a turbocharged motor but I also always am loggin knock and get out of it if their is a problem. Oh yeah, 122K miles on a stock motor.

ttt.. lets exclude factory turbos which most likely has been broken in when the car was purchased.. i'm talking about turbos that has been boosted to the max from day one..
