Lexus SC300 v1.02
Hey guys, the car is in the MAY issue of MODIFIED Magazine, check that $hit out yall
Edit: MORE PICS ON PAGE 4, and Car will be in either the feb or march issue of Modified
Figured id show you all the new SC we have just completed. We having been seeing alot of supra/lexus converts lately, and have been capitilizing on that. I started out with another SC, made power using normal parts, and decided to raise the bar a bit. I started out using a boostlogic manifold, and after recieving it and seeing what a piece of **** it was, I called up FR and told em to get that ****** robot fired up and bust out the first NA 2J manifold.
Some highlights on the car:
FSM Custom Intake Manifold w/ 90mm Wilson Throttlebody
Prototype Full-Race Exhaust Manifold w/ Twin Tial 44mm WG's
FR 67mm with NX Single Fogger 100 shot
HEADGAMES Valve Job and Ferrea SS valves
Getrag 6spd w/ DSS drvieshaft
http://www.CusomLightz.com TSX Retrofit with delined lenses
FSM Custom 4in exhaust
295-35-18 BFG Radials on 11" CCW Classics
Black Interior Swap
Big Brake Kit, OEM style
AEM EMS/Full Fuel
Still Retains AC/PS/Heated Seats etc...
There is a ton of other **** on the car too, most of it being custom. I spent a solid 2.5(200+ hours) months building this bitch, and didnt do some massive *** turbo because I wanted a real street car. I kept breaking the 5spds, so I had to man up and cop the Getrag, which is the best thing you can do with one of these. This is the new "240", as they say, and we are just getting in early
I HAVE to throw up some love for the following Vendors, honestly without these guys help, I would not have alot of the parts on this car. I didnt neccesarily get any free ****, but the following peeps save me thousands of dollars in this build. Most of these guys are well known in the HT world, and if you want some baller ****, hit em up, build a repoir, and get the hook-up.
FULL-RACE--Much love for hooking me up big time on the Exhaust manifold and turbo. Im a baller on a budget, and Geoff blessed me big time. This maniolfd holds low boost sooo rock solid, its unbelievable. Also kinda nice being the first/only one to have something like this. Not that easy to do with a honda
HEADGAMES--I got into a pinch at the last minute, and had some issues. Dave and I agreed to do a head over the winter for my car, but the time arose, and he stepped up big time and helped the kid out at the last minute. 30cfm from a valvejob? Thank you sir!
FIRST STATE MOTORSPORTS I co-own and operate the shop, and this build wouldnt have been possible without the help of my partners. Always giving me good ideas, inspiration, **** talking, etc.. These boys are my family, and I wanted to thank them for helping me push this tank in and out for a few months They are always pushing me to step it up, and thats kinda how this car ended up how it is.
CUSTOMLIGHTZ--These guys are the Full-Race of HID retrofits. Bjorn stepped in and turned my yellow fishtanks into one of the nicest retrofits ive seen on an SC, as well as being the first to fit a TSX assembly into the housing. He also managed to deline the low beam area, and painted the housings to match my oem silver perfectly! Then, I get em back, and it took me about 1/2 hour to complete the install. A half hour! I cant even jerk off in that amount of time
FAST-TURBO--Big Stan blessed me with all my lines, fittings, bulkheads, etc...We strictly purchase all of our fuel system needs from Stan, and he is always delivering the goods. Went with the new mr gasket line, titanium and black for mostly everything, and went with fuellab for filter/reg.
ROSS MACHINE RACING--For the plenums/flanges. We have made a run of 5 intkae manifolds after the success of our prototype. These guys gave us a killer deal and even my picky machinist was very impressed with the quality of the materials. Nice lookin 90mm flanges you got boys, thanks Matt
Alright, enough yip-yap, onto some pics:

It can be yours for the low price of 30K The NA is burly, it uses the same rods as tt, and the pistons just have a slightly higher compression. It also doesnt use oil squirters, kinda like the LS of the 2J world. THere is a ton of potential here, and the Na's tend to have a broader powerband.

Re: (teamsoy1320)
Damn, not only did I have to stare at it for the last couple of months along with pushing it in/out and doing my fair share of 3:00am welding on it, now I have to see it on my computer at home J/K.
I think the main "fire under the ***" comment was made by me saying....."your gonna need to build something to hang with me on the hwy and the big bore bikes that'll I'll be passing"
At any rate, I think I love this car as it was my own and I'll be pissed if I dont get to do an 80-180mph pass on I495 with it
