Default Latest dyno runs from the Civic turbo- 300+ tq on pump gas LS

Well its been a year since I last had the chance to put the car on the dyno so i figured it was time to go back. I had changed from Crome Pro to the Hondata S300 system this year and had dialed back the timing a bit just to be safe. I knew the car was putting down less power than last year, but was a bit suprised with the original numbers, considering i still managed to cut an 11.855 with the amount of power i was putting down. With the help from my buddy Duane(praylewd powr) we adjusted the timing which made some really nice gains, then upped the boost by 4 PSI to just under 20 PSI all on 91 octane shell gas.

The end result was that I went from 279.01 WHP and 261.72 ft lbs torque to 329.86 WHP and 303.38 ft lbs of torque!

The car is an absolute monster on the street with that kind of power. I am just running high boost right now so first and second gear has been a write off for quite some time. Now third gear is a complete waste so I will be turning down the boost for street driving. Rest assured I will be turning it back up when i hit the track though!

For those who dont know about my car, this is a non vtec B18A1 with stock sleeves, a blockguard, je srp pistons, eagle rods. Head is stock other than crane springs/retainers, stock intake manifold, etc. I am running a Precision GT3251E with a .6 a/r on the compressor and a .48 a/r on the hot side.

Here is a before and after dyno plot and then what i was putting down last year in the second graph.

I wanted to thank Elijah and Apex Modified for freeing up time for me to use the dyno and Duane for helping me adjust timing/tune. Thanks again!!

I bet the tires really break loose with 300+ ft-lbs of torque. Nice numbers.

He is running a .48 A/R exhaust side. Look at the curve. It would put out more power up top if he switched to a .63 A/R

Ya the traction is terrible in 1-3rd.

I also plan on buying a .63 and see how that helps keep the power from falling off. Ive got my eye on the crane stage 2 turbo cams as a fall/winter purchase so we shall see what happens.

Im curious to know how much longer it takes to spool with the .63 vs the .48... 300 rpm?

yes the high number one is at just under 20 psi and pump gas. The original ones are at 15-16 psi.

Thought id post up a bit more on the car.

The car: 90 civic dx hatch. I am rocking different rims now.

Engine shot. i didnt really focus on making it look pretty. Function over fashion is sort of my moto.

Car is lowered on h&r sports with some lovely monroe struts. It was too low so i removed my fenders for one trip to the track. They said i wasnt allowed to do it again so i bought some cheap fenders and cut them out. Im still running them but just recieved my PIC coilovers and will be putting those on. I got 6 coilovers so im going to be changing out the rears at the track. They are the 18k springs.

Here is my first run for bracket races. Blew 3rd but still ran a 12.37 at 113.83

slip:

Here is my best run to date 11.855 at 116.03 mph. This was done on my predyno boost and timing so the 279 hp 260 torque. I think a good chunk of the improvement over last year is because im running the hondata s300 antilag as well as full throttle shift.

Here is the timeslip for that run. I redlighted big time so i lost. I was way below my dial in time anyway so i would have been out either way.

Cool car. Not really a fan of the rims. You should get some stickier tires for the street

I sold those long ago just dont have a newer picture of my car. Ive got some RH Evolution 15's on there now. The model name is eluding me this morning though.

Right now i have the bfg gforce kdw2's on there but am contemplating some gforce drag radials for the street.
