Default Laptop ECU tuning requirements?

I plan on using Uberdata, or Crome to tune my car. However I had a question on what the minimum laptop requirements are. I have an older IBM laptop (1999) which is obviously obsolete.
I found the minimum requirements for "crome"

Minimum Requirements

+ 800 MHz PC
+ 5 MB of extra space
+ 256 MB RAM
+ Windows 98S
+ MS Scripting Engine

Recommended Setup
+ 1 GHz PC
+ 5 MB of extra space
+ 512 MB RAM
+ Windows XP SP2 (MS Scripting Engine is already included)

is it safe to assume that Uberdata needs the same requirements as crome? what are you guys using?

Crome will work on most laptops that can handle win98se, but if your laptop is slow datalogging may not work properly.

that is my main concern. I think I might need to get a new up to date laptop.

Thinkpad P2-400 laptop running W2K.
CROME/Datalogging runs fine.
