New IC piping and valve cover paint...
Oily hands and a stainless mani are not a good match!
Leftside shot
Top/rear shot
I'm hoping the can of Pikal metal polish I bought last night will clean up most of the oily spots.

God damn thats one of the nicest engine bays I have ever seen . What did you use to pait your valve cover and ic piping? How much did that manifold run you? Afraid of it cracking? Overall nice job

I used a spray by a company called "Willson". I started with their white primer followed by two coats of their Honda blue pear paint (HO-21 Honda B-62P), and finished with their metallic pearl clear coat. The 8 cans of paint cost me $40 but only because a cute lil' friend hooked me up. Normally (1) can cost $10. I have a lot left and I still need to paint the rest of my piping.Oh yeah! Please don't paint car parts inside of your apartment because this **** will give you a headache! I actually put a fan in the window for ventilation and this **** still made me high as a kite!
My mani has two stainless braces that connect the turbo flange to the header flange so I am not too worried about cracking.

I have lots of plans since I am currently using my .55bar low boost setup.
The following parts are waiting for me to get off of my *** and send my P72 head to Portflow:
GE massaged 2.0 liter B18C block
84.5mm 9:1 RW
Eagle rods
HKS T300S (60-1/T3)
720cc trust injectors
blah blah blah!!

You guys and your crazy right hand drive cars.
Very nice manifold and great work on the valve cover. I spent about 10 minutes doing mine and now I want to strip it cuz it looks like ***. Hehe.
Keep up the good work.

Dee, thank you very very much for the pics, I greatly appreciate them! I shall be printing them, laminating them, and giving them to my exhaust shop guy to get it copied. And Mr. Shamoo, don't dis the RHD drivers!! I wouldn't trust myself steering a car with my LEFT HAND!!

Is Kiwi still in Business? I heard they/he went out of business. I could be wrong I just heard that from a shop here. I heard their manifolds are/were pretty damn nice though.

One ismple way that seems to really prevent cracking is to cut the slots in the flange... i definately reocmmend trying that. The stainless pieces of strap dont work nearly as well. On my kooks i braced it with 4 stainless pieces and all that happened was that they cracked off heh... good manifold tho, it looks like its the same material we use.
