K20/24 Build Questions
Hello All,
I have a K20 motor and am planning a K20/24 build using twin Rotrex C38-91. I am planning on some track and also to weekend/daily drive as well. I had some questions regarding the right block to use. I am planning to build the motor with at least rods and pistons and am debating to go stroker kit or not. Does anyone have experience with the ERL or the BC stroker kits? Does it matter which K24 block I use if I plan to build it? Would the K24A2 be better with the oil squirters and VTEC? If I don't choose to go stroker, which crank would be the best choice? Should I sleeve the motor, or is a block guard good enough? TIA Cheers! |
Re: K20/24 Build Questions
Save the time and money and just put the blower on the K20 with some good supporting mods its gonna make some real good power! plenty for a daily and weakend racing.

Re: K20/24 Build Questions
Two Rotrex units? Save your money and buy one properly sized turbo and have a much more reasonable power band and way more midrange power and torque.
If by "track" you mean road course then you'll want as much midrange torque as possible. |
