hey i just purchased a k04 turbo with manifold and intercooler from a fellow ht member, i was just wondering what i need to run a safe 7.5psi, im on a pretty tight budget of about 900 bux. my present setup is the following:

195lph fuel pump, walbro
denso iridium plugs
stock internals
arp head studs
new head and valve cover gaskets
2.75 exhaust
stock internals

........i figure ill need new valves,springs, and retainers....pistons are a gimme, but should i go with a different cam..ive heard stock cams are mild enough for turbo

if you only have 900 bucks, and only want to boost 7.5psi, dont worry about pistons / rods / valvetrain. your good for ~200whp with the stock stuff, and i dont think you will be there at 7.5psi..

get at least this stuff:

fuel managment.
450cc injectors
intercooler piping,
boost gauge,
2.5 - 3 inch exhaust,
TUNNING

dont run your iridium plugs, waste of money and dont work as well as NGX vpowers. if you havent got the pump yet, get the 255. your going to need it later trust me.
