just an update on my project... pics of course
my last post was about the first start up, timming issues, and low compression...
Updates of exhaust install below (more pics)
Update #2 finished exhaust!!! I will be driving it tonight I hope... call me pic *****
ok anymore welding pics and I'll be moved to another forum **** it I'm siked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
still has 0 miles waiting for kteller 3" exhaust being put together right now. the timming was fixed just wasn't tensioned right. the low compression still has not been proven ok but I'm confidant things are ok. I will put some miles on before checking compression again.
we concluded on the last post that the rings just did not seat yet. I realized the time I did the compression test that gave me low numbers (100psi across) I did not have the throttle cable connected, so the TB was closed during test... that would really explain my low compression huh ?
painted the IC but not the fins, liked the way it looked I guess...
oh and for the guy who noticed my IC pipes were no good on my last post, I did them over so everything fits perfect. no more tire rub and scraping the ground
that's where I'm at... I have the wideband installed so I plan to put miles on this weekend and if everything is good then I will have it tuned in the next week or so...
ps: the old school enki's are temporary because my stockies have snow tires on them. I'm getting ragged on in the cosmetic forum but screw it, I would keep them if they weren't so damn heavy...

haha, I know I got carried away a bit. they ripped me a new one in cosmetic forum for that as well, I plan to replace most or all of the hoses and wires with black. probably going to do a wire tuck, I never heard of it before but looks sick if done right. see all this waiting for the exhaust now I'm thinking about looks... pfft, just have to get this damn thing tuned first.
