Just had to ask you guys. how much??....
im going boost and would like to know how much my setup would yield me?
its a 2001 Prelude
H22A4
Stock block, and internals.
Garret 60trim turbo
tubular custom manifold.
3 in dp
3 in straight exhaust
1200cc injectors
255lph fuel pump
500hp capable FMIC
2.5 in ic pipping
Tial 38mm WG
Chipped P28/w piggybak S300, and OBD2 to OBD1 harness jumper.
i have all this and am going to put in my car as soon as i find a nice tuner.
Can anyone let me know what kind of gains i will see?? to the wheels

the 1200's are defenitely overkill on that setup. I would say stick close to 300 whp on stock internals. This has been covered A LOT, just search a little bit. And by a lot I mean like thousands of times. Consider an alternative, like sleeving the block before you you try to make a lot of power.

I personally wouldn't risk it. Do you drive this car every day or is it just a project ? Sleeving the block is well worth it and can give you much higher boost capability. Don't try to overdo it, otherwise you will be rebuilding your engine before you know it.

How much power threads aren't allowed.
The prelude's have weaker ring-lands than B series pistons so it's key to keep the peak cylinder pressures low on these engines if you are planning on pushing the limits. Search around on the forum and you'll see plenty of posts/threads about this. Here is a set-up we finished last week on a stock H22a. We threw it back on the dyno the following day and hit 322 at 11psi due to better weather conditions.

Just to let you know, it's a pain in the *** to get huge injectors to idle right without runing rich. So you are better off just running like 750cc.

With the right EMS and resolution, it's not that difficult. But I do agree that for a set-up like this 1200cc injectors are overkill.

We are making right at 430whp on the stock internals.....I wish i had 1600cc injectors.....The car runs perfect and has nearly 2000miles of DD....Do yourself a favor and put the car on E85...

that alone is not a reason to push it that far on the stock internals. 2000 miles is only a couple of weeks of driving. Long way to go before it can be classified as "reliable".
300whp on that setup is about right, but I do recommend sleeving whether you run on corn or not. Lower the injector size a bit, and have the right tuner. bottom line.
