dude, you dont wanna bolt your dp to your engine....at least not a hard mount, if you do it use a rubber mount....or else you can crack stuff. it needs room to expand.

I'm sorry, this topic may have already been covered but I couldn't find it in the search. Are they any advantages in running a closed loop setup as opposed to an open loop setup. The only thing I can think of noise of the wastegate dumping out excess. The reason I'm asking is because I'm about to purchase one of Art's 3" dp's used from Chris (Strng1dah) and I'm pretty sure it is an open loop dp.

I was involved in a bad accident and manifold and turbo were actually saved because of that mount on the engine!
The mount took most of the impact from the curb I hit. The downpipe was crushed but the manifold and turbo were perfect.
My setup was exactly like his. A mount on the eninge (just like stock) and flexpipe aftewards. I highly recomend this setup.
I know from my EXPERIENCE it saved my turbo kit.

Hey SilverLudeSi, I'm the guy that came to the shop with the black Honda Challenge Integra. You couldn't have picked a better guy to do that kind of fabrication work - Robert is excellent and he really takes care of his customers.

Yeah, I am really happy with the job he did. I found out about him because Chris Binson, who I assume you would know, got his exhaust for his prelude done there. It's funny b/c I was at krause and england getting an allignment last week and chris pulled up with his honda challenge integra on a trailer. It felt like deja-vu when I saw you pull up at R and J with your integra.
Sorry to take this off topic everyone, too big a coincidence to ignore.
