just got done reading my turbos compressor map...NEED A 2ND OPINION!
i have just got done reading the compressor map for the h-3 wheel
now after ploting specific RPM points...
i found out that at 18 psi , w/ my motor (132cid) h22a4
that the compressor will be going into surge until about 5500 rpms..
now i know for a fact that the turbo will reach 18psi WAYYYY before 5500 rpms
specs on the turbo are as follows:
t3/t4B h-3 comp. trim w/ .63a/r and stage 3 exhaust..
here's is the h-3 compressor map..
if someone can give me a second opinion...maybe i did something wrong
please help before i spend $800 on a new turbo

I'd skip that one. It is not sized correctly for your car. Your gonna end up with a weird looking transition in your fuel curve from vacuum to boost because of the huge surge of air. (talking from experience with the h-3 )

besides a wierd looking fuel curve...is there anything else..
like driveability issues because of the wierd looking fuel curve?
i am particularly worried about surging...
i spoke to a turbonetics rep and he said i need MAD boost...in order for it to surge down low
doesn't 18psi qualify as MAD boost??
plot it and it surges until 5,500 rpm

You typically want smooth ignition and fuel curves so yes, it'll for sure effect the driveability of the car.
