I would check first if you cracked a sleeve. You may be needing a new block.Anyways hit up the sponsors section for rod and piston combos.

Tear apart the block first. Inspect everything before jumping the gun on ordering stuff. But in situations like this, bottom end is toast.

Pistons, Rods, Bearings etc. (shameless plug https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1464232)

May also consider new gasket, headstuds also

Just take it apart first, let someone correctly inspect it all before getting a bunch of parts you may not need

I was planning on beefing up the internals this winter anyways, he told me the whole bottom end is siezed, he cant even manually crank it. WHats your deals on complete re-build kits with boost in mind, ITR is highc ompression I know I want something lower so it'll be safer and better for boost, PM me a shipped price, I'm looking to order asap. Thanks!

Do you want him to come to your house and pull your motor too?

*******, I'm kinda not educated when it comes to the internals of a motor, Iknow what the parts do and what they look like but I don't know which compression ratio to get and which bore size? Cans omeone give me a good round of advice...hybrid-performance what do you recommend?

Question you have to ask is,

Doyou want to sleeve it?
Which Bore? Prob 83mm to be safe if you sleeve, if not 81.5mm to clean up the existing bore.
Pistions? CP, Wiseco etc.
Rods? Manley, Pauter, Crower etc.
Compression? 9.0-9.5:1 is good
Bearings? OEM if you can, if not ACL's are sufficient with the proper clearances
Headstuds? ARP
New Oil Pump, Water Pump, Headgasket of proper bore.

when my ITR motor seized, i bought another complete block... and built that up...

you can rebuild yours but i'd suggest you get a new crank and all new bearings... if you're on a budget just get some eagle rods and some type of forged pistons...
oh and a new oil pump while you're at it

there is a button for that
its in the top right SEARCH lol

on a serious note....

if your goals are around 350 whp
then a basic CP piston and eagle combo will work
again u will need to see what is really up with the bottom end and what u need
so take it apart

does it need a waster pump, oil pump, thrust washers, timing belt, headgasket bearings blah blah? pretty much what 96 GSR-T said

ALRIGHT: Ijust get a phonecall from my friend, he has a friend who's offered to trade his perfect working order 94 GSR motor for my blown one, motor for motor. I don't know the mileage on it yet, but he says its mint. What do you think? Iknow GSR is safer with boost. TOo good a deal to pass up?

LSD will be kept, just motor for motor. Also, will I have to make any modification to the charge piping/downpipe for it to fit like it did on the ITR motor in there or will I be all set?

you cant use the ITR intake mani on the GSR's.USe the engine harness thats on ur ITR and it will all line up, except for the dual butterflies in the GSR intake mani.U will have to wire them urself.
