Default JUST finnished greddy turbo install... problem!

So I just finnished installing a greddy turbo kit with FMIC on my (otherwise stock) 1992 Civic DX.

Under easy driving (medium throttle) the car runs great with no problems at all (knocks on wood). However, if I try to get on the throttle a lot, sometimes a Check Engine Light will come on and the car seems to go into limp mode (very little power). If I pull over and shut the car off and then drive away the CEL goes away and the car drives fine again.

I should note that I have not upgraded any of the fuel delivery on this car. I have added a vortech 12:1 Fuel Management Unit however.

Am I having a fuel delivery problem or is this something else?

Thanks in advance

Your Engine Needs TUNED!!! on some sort of EMS. you might wanna pull the CEL code first. but i would not recommend driving around like that untuned. destroy those ringlands get some debri going through the turbo and now your turbo is F$*KED

your code(s) is/are MAP seeing boost and the 02 sensor seeing either too rich or too lean. Do not drive on that engine until you get it tuned. DO NOT GO INTO BOOST.

I think it is because your map sensor is seing boost. I believe if the map sees more than 10 psi the ecu goes into limp mode. If you are on a budget try installing a pair of aquerium check valves in front of the map sensor. I would strongly recomend at the very minimum that you have your afr checked. You can continue to use your rising rate fp regulator. While they are not the best and have a host of problems. It can work decent at low boost levels.

why would you even TRY going into boost just using a POS fmu and nothing else?

Did you do no research before slapping that thing on and going? Or not read the greddy instructions (which I'm sure say something about adding fuel management!) ????
