just did piston install, someone double check me!!
i installed my wiesco 84mm pistons tonight. the ring instructions said to put the oil rings, one gap on each wrist pin side and the oil expander at 12'o'clock. it didn't say where to put the top and second ring so i put them according to honda helms which said between 10-11'o'clock and 7-8'o'clock. is that correct? also on one of my pistons, the oil expander didn't seem to move freely with the two oil rings installed. it fits but it's kinda snug at one part and dosen't want to move freely. is that a problem?

Where you clocked the rings to is good, as long as they dont line up, you will be allright. Allso I would not rally worry about the oil ring turning free. it should be okay.
Good to see someone else is up as late as I am!
