Default Junkyard turbo setup almost finished.

subaru ihi turbo, std manifold, custom adapter, custom downpipe,
With A/C
have intercooler, plan on running about 5 psi until I can get some fuel management.

am i gonna be ok on 5psi with timing backed off 5 and colder plugs? also thinking of doing water injection.

5 psi is Ok with retarded timing, but a BTM would be worthwhile and I would go with SMC and 450's, it really is the cheapest way to go.

Go one step colder only.

How are you going to control the boost? I think the stock wastegate is set for 11 psi?

Hey bro he brought up a good point about controlling the boost, you may be screwed, but I can save you some money and some trouble. I tried my own junkyard turbo setup and had too many problems to make it a reality so I will make it easier on you. I have a 7psi wastegate actuator I can send you, it should fit that turbo since it looks like the same size mine was. Let me know what you think. Later.

If I were you I'd really just wait until I have the cash to get at least an FMU or SMC before I even think about running boost.
