Junkyard Fuel Injectors?
I'm just wondering if anyone has a list of fuel injectors I might find in the local junkyard that are atleast 300cc that I could use for a mild turbo D16 build. I found this guide:
http://www.robietherobot.com/Storm/f...ectorguide.htm
But noticed it doesn't list any European stuff or minivans or anything, and just wondering if anyone knows if any of that stuff will work for me. I just want to have lots of options when I get to the junkyard, not sure of my odds of finding some of the cars in that link. Thanks for any help.

Re: Junkyard Fuel Injectors?
DSM's are the Eclipse/Talon/Laser injectors, right? Are the higher flow DSM's found in non-turbo models as well, or only the turbo ones? Basically the local wrecking yard has a U-Pick yard of 1998 and older model vehicles, and all injectors go for one base price. So it doesn't matter what they're off of, I just need some common 300+ cc injectors from pre-98 cars that I could snag. Chances are there won't be any turbo Eclipse/Talon's, but there are commonly some Saab's and Volvo's and BMW's, I just don't know if those injectors are usable in an EK.

non turbo ones are like 275cc I think. waste of time. the auto injectors are pink top and 390cc the best to get are blue top dsms that are 450's besides the jdm yellow tops that are 510's.

My car already has the resistor box, but from the threads about the injectors - i couldn't work out whether or not they needed physically modifying ?
Edit : realised that its just a case of modifying the clips.
Thanks.

Re: Junkyard Fuel Injectors?
If you search my name, I explained how to install the injectors to someone about 2 weeks ago. It's really simple. There was a writeup for YEARS on HMT that would be helpful as well, but once that site was sold, the write-ups vanished. I'm sure there is something in the achieves on here, but it's stupid easy to install these injectors.
