JRSC Will My New Pulley Setup Work: CTR Crank + Stepper + Smaller SC Pulley
Alright I wanted to Change up my pulley setup. Basically I want to change my supercharger setup. Right now i'm running a b18b with a jrsc setup. I wanted to raise the boost. Most ppl just throw on a bigger crank pulley but i decided to do it differently. I think I should use the ctr crank pulley which measures 128.7mm which is smaller the the itr pulley which measures at 140.9mm. Now this is a differene of about 12.2mm which equates to about an 8.6% loss of power when using a ctr crank instead of itr crank. I'm unsure of the size of an ls crank pulley. I believe it is larger then an itr crank pulley. Anyways I then plan on using a "stepped" alternator pulley. The outer portion is the same diameter as the original pulley that came with the jrsc kits, but it has increased the inside (blower drive) pulley diameter to provide a 12% increase in blower rpm. I then want to put on a 3.0" SC pulley. I believe that this should put me around 9 to 11 psi. If someone could please help me out to double check this that would be great. Also, If someone could please post the size of an LS crank pulley. Please post all criticism of my pulley setup. Thank You.

Just install the pulleys and find out. If you want details on jrsc setups, go to the huge jrsc thread.

The LS is much bigger than the ITR/SIR/GSR crank pulley. Thus your CTR pulley is actually closer to 15% less than the LS...
Having a small, 3" pulley is asking for trouble. re: slippage
And use the search... The information is available!
