Roots type blowers give a lotta low end torque and the b18c already has more tq down low then the b16a.. this is where your traction problems are coming from. you can either get stickier tires, an lsd, or a boost limiter. Before you do all that though, just keep practicing on ur launches.. you will get better at it.

I bought some Toyo T1S rubber, and installed an ITR lsd and the car actually tracks now.

Your car(GSR) makes way more torque then your brother's Si. There is a greater difference in the power being made between the two. You need good tires and a little less air pressure.

Welcome to the world of instant torque!
An LSD will help, also Drag radials or Aennis. Mainly you just have to get used to it, The B16A will get a little more tration as it has less torque.
I spin 1st, 2nd and 3 rd, You just have to go easy on the load pedal.

Put the biggest turbo you can find on there then you wont have any power till red line, But you wont have traction problems.
Just thought I would add a stupid comment the doesn't help any body.

Unbolt the SC, problem solved.
Now, *that's* a comment that helps no one.
I think the only thing not covered here is, what are your alignment settings? If differing from stock due to lowering, etc, that's your #1 target of attack, followed by something tire/wheel.
Ditch the 17's, not enough sidewall for good bite or handling - rubber bands are aesthetics, not performance. Some slip angle from actually having a tire sidewall worth speaking of helps the tire maintain contact with the road, and the same give helps with straight line traction, too. I'm a big fan of Azenis tires.
After that, look to an LSD or radius rods depending on your wallet.
