Default Is a JRSC @ 8 PSI- Safe for a motor with 100K on it?

My motor has 106K miles on it. Will do a compresion and leakdown test and replace all belts and water pumps before I do ANYTHING. Will it be safe to run it at 8 PSI with that many miles on bottom end? Thanks in advance.

My b17a with 120k did fine with the JRSC. Now I have a T3/T4 on it now running 11psi.

Whats your engine?

Intercooler?

Ignition?

Lots of variables to your question.....need more information...

As a general rule, much over 6psi on stock internals can be risky...

Thicker head gasket (2 mil), Block Guard (NuFormzs) and ARP head studs will do a lot of help, along with MSD BTM...

Ahhhh, the fun of it all...

2fastGSR, why are you asking if you intend to sell your car?

Because I have not made a final decision yet. I was originally going to take over someones payments on a 2001 Type R and sell mine, but now the guys wants a crazy amount of cash up front for all the stuff he put on it. So we have not worked out a deal yet. So if it goes through, I need to sell my car, if it does not these are my plans for my car.Just covering my own *** for which ever way it plays out.
