Default JRSC @ 10psi= 3 inch exhaust

Well today i installed my new DC JDM 4-1 header and got full 3 inch exhaust made...

All I can say is WOOOH. what a difference from the DC 4-1 with a 2 1/4 inch collector and 2 1/4 inch exhaust!

But its LOUD when I open her up so tomo im getting a 3inch cat installed.. will this really help keep the noise down?

it'll help a bit to quiet it down. but it will choke it a bit.

if you can find a really long 3" glasspack it'll help a lot. it will not restrict the flow, and quite it down quite a bit.

You can get 3" reonators from Magnaflow, I have two of them on my set up( 2.5"). They are very smooth on the inside and make a big differance, they come in stainleww or alluminized.

umm really? Do you have a link for that!

I originally wanted 2.5 Mangel bend but they only have 3 inch mangel in stock.. So it was that or 2.5 normal bend!! So i naturally opted for the 3inch!

last question for you, My tuner tunned my car with a straight 13:1 fuel air ratio!
Is that too lean? or what, he said this was safer then 12:1

?

safer = more rich

leaner = detonation
