jr supercharger or vortech?

jr supercharger or vortech?
I am kinda stuck between two decisions: Jdm type r swap/jr supercharged or b16a1 swap/ vortech supercharged...So I thought i would come to the fi forum to get the best opinion possible...Also which supercharger is more reliable?

My opinion...go turbo
Neither of those supercharger setups impress me, especially the JRSC
edit : What made you set your mind on getting either jrsc or vortech ?

turbo!!!... hehehe... j/j... as far as blowers go... you would be better served with the jrsc... the vortech is only good for high horsepower numbers and super-high top end... take a look at some dyno charts and you will see that the jrsc will give you a better, usable powerband...

I would recomend the JRSC on either application. They can be more than satisfiying on either setup. I would leave Vortech to the v8's. If you've got the money go with the Type R swap with the jrsc. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

GO turbo..the vortech unit runs like 3500? with that kind of cash you can do a sick custom set up or get a drag kit with cash left over for fuel managment...plus with a turbo..you want more hp, you turn up the boost!

supercharger for reliability...and those are the only ones i have heard of...I thought about going turbo, but i am still making payment on my car and a supercharger will not destroy my internals...
in response to the original question, I'd have to say b16 with vortech/aftercooled (thought it's overpriced).

I say go B18B and turbo it, cheapest option with the most power. Spend the rest of the money on fuel managment and tunning. Plus you get the sexy looks and sounds of an intecooler and BOV
