Default JR SC type R ,or JR SC GSR??for my 94 civic hatch?

im just wondering how both would respond to the JR SC??
would the GSR b better for a SC??

i know most of u will say go turbo,,
but im still thinking,,im just trying to compare these 2 now
cuz im trying to decide on the engine

and if i do go with a SC(good chance),i dont want to get the R engine,,if its gonna peform just the same as GSR,,cuz i can save a lil money by buying a GSR swap,,and get the SC at about the same time

are there any JR SC teg type R's or GSRs out there???
what kinda times u runnin?

i am just gonna have the 6psi kit,,and basic I/H/E
no more ,for now
also,,do most of u think the vortec SC isnt as good as the JR???

let me know what u think
thanks mike

you'll get around 225 to the wheels with a stock gsr motor, header, 2.5 inch exhaust, intake, no cat, afc, jrsc, and a 8 lb pulley. i'd go with that or add bigger injectors and 10 lb pulley rather than run the b18c5.

i still may look into a turbo

a lil while back,i almost bought a drag gen 3 for the teg
but used the $ for a house downpayment
and 3 months after we got the house,,i sold the teg

and now i have a lil money to do a swap,,and this time,,i will have a faster car then my teg

its amazing what a good swap can do

i guess if i could make up mind then i should prob go for the GSR swap,,and save for some type of FI
but it may b a year before i go FI

i just like the fact the R will b faster then a GSR right off the bat
but will cost more
but my goal is to save 7000$$ for a total swap,
anf thats pretty much the cost of a R swap installed
so if i have the money i say y not get the R,,but then a part of me says save a lil more,,and get the GSR with some FI

i guess when it comes down to it,,
im a women and cant make up my mind about anything
at least thats what alof of my friends say

hehe

thanks mike

why dont u do a LS turbo swap.. I made 230/198 with my LS turbo on 8psi.. thats more then your going to make with a JRSC GSR or type R.. Or instead of GSR turbo swap, u could have a fully built LS turbo swap.. think about it.
