JR FMU questions
Car: D15b7
M45@4 psi
Timing 12 degrees
Ok, my B&M is set at 32 with the vaccum hose on. I assume under WOT there is a 8 psi rise because that's just what it does....
The JR FMU was set at 40 with the vaccum off, I guess to take over after the WOT and to be there for boost. So, 32 at idle, floor it, rises 40 and the FMU does the 5:1 through my whooping 4 lbs of boost.
The problem is that the car is running very rich. I decided to lower the JR FMU to 36 just for *****, it seems to run better but by doing this am I causing an overlap? I mean, with the FMU hitting at 36 it's overlapping the natural 8 psi WOT rise to 38 right? Can anybody explain this to me, again? Is overlap good?
