Looks to be a borg warner/schwitzer 3LM-299 model..You're not putting that on a honda motor are you?

i see you have alot of posts about a turbo set-up. I suggest you just buy a "kit" from a reputable company, Like Rev Hard or Full Race. Kits are complete, and tested.

Doesn't say in the auction and i'm running a *gasp* D16.

Yes, it's the 3LM-299, not finding any information on it though through Google.

Its basically a t4/t04b..Putting that thing on a sohc 1.6 Litre would be rediculous,,You should get a t3/t4 of some sort..westcoast-turbo sells rebuilt ones for $400..

go along the lines ith a T3 super 60 or T3/T4. Not a T4, you'll probably be at red line by time you get to Full boost

I had a Super 60 actually, i just don't see spending money on the same thing (which sells for ~$300 used) and i can't find just another center section, i've been looking for a few months, asking around, posting on various forums. I can pick this up for about $100 is why i'm interested in it. I don't know, just shopping around, the input is appreciated, i know it sounds like it's going in one ear and out the other, but for $100, i might as well give it a shot.

...and now that i've further read, i won't be getting this turbo.

The Westcoast Turbo T3/T04B .48 hot .70 compressor sounds good, agreed?

It looks like it uses a standard T3 exhaust flange to me. It really should be cleaned up and rebuilt before it is used though. That alone can add up to the price of a already rebuilt turbo. You might want to rethink getting that one for something in better shape and closer in size to what you need.

you need to spend a couple hours searching and reading some threads on prefered turbo sizes for your engine, and turbo sizing

For some reason I started hearing action/spy music in my head. "There is a terror running about striking down everything it comes across. It sucks it's prey in by pretending to be nothing other than a slow Honda, and when the prey takes the bait it strikes and leaves all in it's wake. No one is safe."

I had a chance to speak with this terror. I asked him "Can you give me some details on your setup? At least tell me how much boost you are running."

"Eleventy-billion."

I found the thread, he's running a .48 A/R T3 exhaust side, that's why he can spool it.
