JG Edelbrock Manifold results
swapped out my stock GSR manifold for the JG one. At 10 psi, it was g-Tech at 13.7 at 109.xx mph (this was on 16" TYRES). Now with the JG manifold , ran 13.4 at 112.2 mph at same boost level. from 7000 rpm this manifold pulled very hard all the way to 8500. i evenly disregard my shift light since I could feel the car pulling strongly past my shift point (8500). i felt it could have made more power at 9000 , but did not want to stress out my valve train. i was running A/F ratios at 11.1(5000), 11.6(6000), 12.0(7000), 11.2(8000-8500). still needs some tuning.

Viren, are u in FL? What's goin on. Broke our tranny in San Antonio with no spare. Looking for one tonite. The tranny situation has become desperate. Keep breaking them and don't know what to do.

Vicious traction at San Antonio. Tore the spider gears out. Found another tranny so will run on Sun. If I had a Quaife, this wouldn't happen.

This is just my opinion and not backed with data, but I believe the prodrive is much harder on parts. If the car goes down the strip perfectly straight, there should be no problem with the spool. But the first time you get a little crossed up, I think that one axle or one side of the tranny gets loaded violently and would cause breakage. The Quaife should respond to this type of problem properly. Again, just an opinion.

If I remember correctly, you have a CRX right? My tranny is a cable LS tranny out of a 1991 LS(will not fit 92+ input shaft splines)...

WOW...I'm shocked at your generous offer. Thank you. Hehe, it definitely would be harmed if I used it. I use the big shaft ls.
What I am going to do is take a month or two off from racing and come out with a new combination. Pulling the dfi and going to install an Autronic. Different boost in each gear, launch control program to hold boost on the starting line, data logging and maybe traction control. New slicks, turbo(?), better tranny, dss axles, etc.
Thanks again and I am humbled by your offer.

Rock solid, boost up to 28 now with no problems. Love the extra cooling of the open deck. Now that Dan does ALL the machine work, quality back to 100%. No head gasket problems yet.
