JE pistons for those with turbo ls/vtec?
Just wondering what bore size you may have opted to go with?
Reason im asking is cause i was prepared to go with JE's but they don't make them for my application. I was told that i would have to use the specs from the SRP's and get them custom made by with the JE specs?
Is this true? Let me know guys, very important.
I've also been told to bore my block to say 82mm, i don't plan to sleeve it ill next year. For now i just want a reliable streetable setup say running 10 - 11psi for daily driving.
thanks

Re: JE pistons for those with turbo ls/vtec? (paul_vang)
hummm....I have an ls/vtec with JE 9.0:1 pistons...
they were .20 over, but still made for the ls/vtec from JE

What i was looking for is to stay at a stock bore and go with the JE pistons but at that point i was told i would have to go for the SRP pistons which aren't that great in boosted setups to a certain horsepower level.
thanks
