Jackson Supercharger.......why doesn't anyone use water/meth? Or do they?
My buddy (a 2000 ITR) is thinking of going to a Jackson for Ca. smog reasons, and we were wondering why not?
You should be able to run more boost safely, cool the intake charge as much or more that a water/intercooler kit, and it would SEE more boost, maybe 1 psi, due to the denser air.
I don't know if the 10-11psi safety limit I've seen about Jackson's is a pressure limit, or a pressure induced thermal heat limit. If so, the water/meth would help there too.
Being a Mustang owner also, I see the water/meth used frequently on Eaton's on 03-04 Cobra's and those with Kenny Bell upgrades too.
Any info would be great, thanks.

the 11psi safety limit is related to the blower itself.
more boost than that and it'll spin so fast that it heats up and destroys itself
i dont like water injection just cuz i dont liket he idea of having to refill the one thing thats saving my motor from detonation..
but thats just me being wierd, hehe.
