Default ITR muffler too restrictive for boosted cars?

My Tanab is on its last legs and I am tired of it, lookin at getting a new muffler, I was just wondering is a stock ITR muffler just too small for a boosted car?

Its a T3 turbo kit on a B18b in and EG

Id go with a S2000 or G35/350z muffler. Seems like it would have good flow. ITR muffler would be a bit restrictive. Sound nice though.

No exhaust is best for turbo, so a small ITR exhaust would be really restrictive.

Anything above 2 1/2 inches is good...3 is better. Try and find a truck muffler, like desiel or something, lol. Might work

I was going to ask the same thing. The reason I was leaning towards a type r muffler is because its stock looking and sounding. The only thing is, its 2.25" and its chambered, where as most aftermarket system and what you want for a turbo car is a straight through design.

unfortunately the s2K muffler is only 2"...
