Default issue with turbo civic hesitating, help :(

alright today i go to drive off to work get in my car and start driving. i drive alittle then go around a corner and all of a sudden now when i get the gas the car doesnt pick up it basically just stops and starts spuddering. then it will pick up again and basically repeat this through all gears. sometimes it would be driving normal with no trouble at all. it was not doing this yesterday and my car was sitting since 7:30PM last night. also the idling on the car is pretty bad, sputters and drops slightly.

this is my setup:

96 dx coupe
2000 ls motor
t3/t04e turbo
tial 35mm wastgate
rc 550 injectors
ngk wires and colder plugs
97 jdm itr tran, clutchmasters stage 4 clutch, fidanza flywheel(installed this past weekend)
tuned with uberdata
also im currently running 10lbs

i bought this car from another hondatech member a few weeks ago and this car has been running great, recently the idle has been alittle weird so i raised it due to the flywheel. my plugs were checked 2 days ago and they were fine. anyone have any insight to what the problem may be?

also if you need any more info on my setup to help, just ask. thanks HT.

could be a multitude of things, from plugs and cap on down to the uberdata or tuning.

do you have any check engine lights on??

any sensors you know of, that are bad or malfunctioning??

shitty gas, bad sending unit, saying it is 1/8th full but really empty(bad honda problem in 96-00)

give us some more details

nope no check engine lights at all. this weekend i was planning on changing the cap and rotor. all sensors have been functioning correctly. i just filled my car with mobil 93 yesterday. but when gas is low the gas light doesnt come on till its on E, not 1/8 way down. if it was the uberdata or tuning wouldnt this have happened weeks ago?

sounds to me like a fuel or ignition problem, was the fuel filter replaced? a tuneup couldnt hurt... and is it a constant problem or after it happened did it keep on doing it the whole way to work? or eventually it went away? my bad, this is Rob james left his name signed on at my house.

it was on and off, like around my town it started to do it then stopped so i figured it was a one time deal. then on 287 closer to my work it was doing it in 5th gear.

could easily be a distributor problem. know anyone whose distributor you could swap onto it to see if it fixs it?

sounds like a possible ignition coil dying slowly, or maybe an ignitor.

I have this same exact problem. My car will stop doing it though once it gets warm. I have no idea.
