Default IRRITATING NOISE: Only when car is dead cold

So every morning when I start the car, I always let it warm up for a few minutes before driving it. However, if I have to drive it say within a very short period of time after starting it, there is a rattling sound that only occurs around 3500-4000 rpm and I don't hear it at any other rpm range. Once the car warms up, the noice goes away. Any idea what would cause a noise like that at only cold temperatures?

Setup:
84mm B18C1
AEBS Sleeves
Full-Race manifold and Full-Race T4/T67
Tial WG and BOV
Victor X
1000cc Injectors

check all your bolts and make sure non are loose. maybe one is just loose enough, so it will make noise until it gets some heat in it.

on my car, the damn horn rattles around a bit. check everything. or just stand outside of the car when its warming up. hold the throttle rotor with you hand and pinpoint it.

My car's favorite thing to rattle is the exhaust

could be....but wouldn't that have meant it would make that noise since the engine was rebuilt? This just started recently.

he says it only occurs at a certain rpm, my pistons slap most noticeably at idle and then you hear it less the more you rev it up. And piston slap doesnt sound like a rattle, it sounds like a knock.
