Interesting oil pressure discovery.
I'v come across this a few times and it seems everyone who has an oil pressure guage usually see's between 60-80 PSI of oil pressure before thier turbo install. Afterwards people report getting oil pressure readings from about 20-50 PSI.
Ok this just occured to me last night while I was looking through 90-93 'teg service manual. What i s the actual oil pressure supposed to be? Guess what, the books says 10 PSI @ idle and 50 @ 3000 RPM. So isn't that what most people are reading after their turbo install?
Does anyone hav any thoughts on this? I'm not sure what to think.

Re: Interesting oil pressure discovery. (Speed PHreak)
some the reason why the oil pressure goes down is because now you have oil going through a turbo that is about 1000 degrees and the oil starts to get hot and thin, you will really notice it after a good hard pull through a couple of gears.
